Despite R. Kelly's second arrest on kiddie porn charges, a Chicago firm is going ahead with plans to republish a 32-page illustrated children's book about the R&B singer's supposedly inspirational life story. First published in 1998, "I Can Fly," is about Kelly's rags-to-riches tale and "having dreams," according to publisher Kim Dulaney, whose company, Unique Expressions, will release the $12.95 title in March. The book follows Kelly from his childhood, when he dreamed of stardom, to the pre-arrest days of the late-90s. Kelly, the book reports, credits his mother for pushing him to succeed. The slim volume ends with a drawing of a singing Kelly surrounded by young female admirers, whose cartoon ages are hard to determine. Dulaney told TSG she is now preparing a book ("Star Struck" is the working title) that will address the problems that come along with success. (4 pages)
